2014年新春,當全世界的中國人在大魚大肉中度過農曆新年時,有一群超凡入聖的神仙來到玉井展開他們的修鍊之旅-不吃不喝,照片是他們進入最高潮3天不進食的日子,下文則是來自香江的神仙美女-Betty(以前是一位醫生),向她的朋友分享神仙之旅的內容:

    In the past 7 days, I went to retreat in a fasting camp in Tainan (
http://www.fasting.tw/). What we did was meditation, yoga, dawn exercise, lectures about Naturopathy, and different kinds of activities about getting closer to the nature. I was a person who needed to have dinner before 7:30pm or I would become hypoglycemic. However, not only I could survive after these days (although I did have 2 days of pretty hard time of having some of the detox symptoms), but my whole body and mind has also become very refreshing and all the minor pains here and there were all gone! I had about 3 kg of toxins removed from my body in just 7 days and I am pretty surprised--I always thought I was quite healthy!! After this, I have a different perspective about food and function of our body. It was such a meaningful trip during Chinese New Year where people traditionally loaded a lot of junks to their bodies. After all, it's a two thumbs up for one's soul and body.

  在過去7天,我去了台南參加一個斷食營(網址是http://www.fasting.tw/)。我們每天所做的活動是靜坐、自我整脊瑜伽、日出前的神仙操、自然療法的課程以及各種親近自然的活動。我是一個晚上7點半前不進餐就會有低血糖症狀的人;不過,經過幾天的斷食(我經歷了2天辛苦的排毒狀症)我不僅活過來了而且我的身與心變得更有精神,原本全身到處酸痛的現象也不見了。有大約3公斤的毒素從我的身體排掉了,更令我驚訝的是──我一直自以為很健康,其實不然;但是現在我對於食物與身體的功能有了不一樣的看法。在農曆過年這是一趟有意義的旅行,通常人們會在這個時候將身體裝滿垃圾。總之,這對一個人的身心靈是很棒的。
